TO EXPECT FROM OUR FFFFFUN SHOW VISIT
AIMS:
$6.00 per child, Family rate if needed,
adults free.
The presentations are adapted to age or
year levels, and the facilities.
The FFFFFFun Sci/Tech Show
is an entertainment. The children will enjoy the experience
and remember it. To make it entertaining, lots of surprises,
jokes and visual activities take place. Each visit has different
content to the last time we visited.
2010 is the
International Year of BIODIVERSITY. Therefore some of the presentation
will have references to this theme, but varies according to
topical interest and it is possible to add a few activities to
link with a focus you have at your school
While the themes are
a handy vehicle to make the FFFFFFun Show relevant, it is
still the GENERAL and ODDBALL presentation that works across
all age levels and at any time can be varied to suit the
situation. Let's discuss this!
We aim to motivate teachers as well as
children, so activities and demonstrations are reproducible
with minimal materials in the next session of school!
Ideas are presented using methods and concepts
relevant to modern teaching. Both children and teachers will
want to do science and technology as a result.
And yes, there is a strong educational
content to the show, but don’t expect too many answers
or dry lesson-type lectures. This is a Show.

Unfortunately, knowing that some of the above will be presented,
is not much use to you. Indeed, many of the concepts will
be before you and gone before you can take note. So the show
is supported in these ways:
- If you ask us, we will may be
able to add content
relating to areas you are studying at the time.
- Lesson plans, notes and worksheets
are provided with each visit.
- All letters written by children
to our presenter are answered directly and individually
to the child, answering all questions.
- Teachers are provided with explanations
and support materials relating to subjects raised during
the show on request.
- Also on request, a lesson-plan or
notes will be provided free-of-charge on an on-going basis
for ever, on any topic!
- Further visits are possible because
we maintain a record of the content to make sure the future
days are fresh and different.

stand alone, $880 if following a daytime booking in your
school.
WHOLE SCHOOL SCIENCE FFFFFUNDAY:

These are often provided as a supplement to the FFFFFFun
Show visit. Ask about these services.
Note however that the cost of fuel
and travel means that the availability is determined by other
booking commitments.
